Yoga and a haunted forest

Yoga! I always thought this sounded like something fun to try, but it wasn't until last sunday that i actually did it. My roomie Lauren put me up to it and I agreed to go. It was super relaxing and I was only a little sore the next day.

I went to a "haunted" forest for the first time with the Regent crew. It was a ton of fun and there was a lot of screaming involved. I still swear the floor moved during the last part. And, the scariest part may have been the hayride that we watched them fix before we got on... well they sort of fixed it.

Hmmm... in other news... I cleaned like a person with a germ phobia. This is a good thing.

I'm having that feeling that I'm forgetting something...

Pure as the driven snow?

Something random to think about:

I was drinking a bottle of Ice Mountain water last night when i noticed their slogan on the side of the bottle (which I've never seen before) that says,

"Ice Mountain... Pure as the driven snow."

Now I don't know about you, but when I think of the "driven snow" I think about that brown slush that stays in the streets after cars have driven over the snow. This is supposed to be a selling point? I must be missing something.

Like I said... kinda random.

It's the music that never ends...

It's the music that never ends... yes it goes on and on my friends... some people started playing it....

I woke up this morning to announcers and music blasting which didn't stop until about 8pm tonight. I think it's kinda cool that I can hear the game and see all the people outside my window, but it NEVER stops. After a while it gets a bit much. Plus, I don't like to look out my window and see people peeing.

I tried to do homework today... and I did some reading. Freakonomics. I realized on page 6 that although I found the book interesting I hated the authors. Okay maybe hate is a bit strong... I strongly disliked them. And, then while I was reading this book that I actually found interesting I fell asleep. So much for that.

where to start?

Okay, so I just started this blog and I'm not really sure what people want to hear about or if anyone will even read this. (Actually, Christine will cause she's been practically begging me to write one... lol.) My life is not that interesting, but if you really want to know what I've been up to this is it:

Last weekend was the first time I got out of Madison since my parents dropped me off in august. I went to Milwaukee for RoKS... now that I'm thinking about it I don't even know what RoKS means... oh well. I got to meet a lot of new people from Madison and other universities in our region and learn about AIESEC. Yay! It was an awesome weekend!!

Monday and Tuesday I had exams which were not fun at all. That was the worst part of the week. I don't even want to talk about it. Next topic...

Wednesday I went to the general AIESEC meeting. It made me really miss traveling and all those funny little things that happen to you when you don't know where you are or what you're supposed to be doing. I should write about that sometime. I miss my friends from Ea and the ocean and the fiestas. And, I miss the happy old people.

It is way to hard to try and recap a whole week and remember everything.

TODAY... My parents and sister Karissa came down to Madison to visit me and bring me warm clothes. Yay!! I hope my scarves are in these boxes somewhere. They brought me food and computer paper too. Then we went out to eat at a places on state street... and now I can't even remember the name... wow i'm smart. Then my sister and I got wisconsin t-shirts and took pics with one of those random cows that are everywhere. I wish they could have stayed a little longer. I'm not homesick, but I felt like it was so rushed cause i had to go to class and they had to go back too. I guess I won't see them until Thanksgiving... now that is going to be some good food.

So, that brings me to right about now. I'm eating yoplait whips - key lime pie...they are very good and if you haven't had this kind before you should try it. Nevermind the fact that you actually get about 1/3 less yogurt than the non-whipped kinds... i used to work in a grocery store... you get bored sometimes.

I think this weekend I'm going to try and study a lot. We'll see if that happens.
